I have a lot of hobbies, which include leatherwork and amateur knife making and wood turning (see other Reddit posts in my profile, I don’t sell / I’m not advertising). I’ve been building my own edc kit (and many copies mostly as gifts) and this is a sample of my typical carry, minus a few things like keys and cards and passport taken out of the holders.
Top center is a worry stone I made out of stabilized maple from a tree I cut down on my property. The wallet and field notes/passport wallet I made from a pair of very sentimental cowboy boots I had (the reason I got into leatherwork was to find a good use for old boots I couldn’t throw away), the knife is from an old file with scales from the same maple tree. The pill holder also from that tree. I just ordered a butane insert for my zippo so I’m pretty excited about that, and the bottom container is a rendered deer tallow hand salve and leather conditioner made from a deer I harvested a while back. Beads on the knife and worry stone are from a deer I harvested.

Little more info: I designed the leather stamp and had it custom made, I’m no pro so the placement and cleanliness could use some work ;). Part of what I do for work is home inspections so I carry some big power tool battery spot/flashlights and headlamps with me in my work van every day, as well as about 4 smaller taclights not really worth showing.
