First Proper Flashlights — Thrower + Flooder × Extender 💚×🧡

Good day! Dear Community,

i am ~dearly~ writing this as a journal, or perhaps as a time capsule to the start of this newfound world of flashlights.

I’ve begun developing an interest in these powerful flashlights for range — the capability of these new modern flashlight being able to reach 🔦 vast amounts of distances 🌌 and covering a large amounts of fields is truly intriguing – beyond one’s own’s scope. We, I suppose, yearn for grasping for the stars since ancient times, thus flashlights provide us the reach and the amounts of knowledge around us for our curiosity (flooder).

For my first flashlight I’ve considered and purchased after diligently reading through several posts which land me on the Wurkkos TS22 — in green for extra flavor. .

Since Wurkkos had a sale, I somehow encountered the TS11 by being intrigued of the “candle mode” 🕯️ and thus, I did add this for the range and ambience alongside the diffuser. Really, really amazing. Of course after having watched a gazillion amounts of reviews beforehand. That Andruil 2.0 (?) is truly insanity and I’m all for it. Added several goodies obviously – couldn’t pass those. That hat or cap is of great quality. Also, Wurkkos is amazing – really, I’ve requested for a battery since I hadn’t considered it while getting the extended tube and they withhold from sending my package and gave me an instruction on how I can add a battery if I desire so, went to the 5$ “accessories and gift” (without a coupon!) and voila~! it was added to the package and everything was sent together. Truly. I do not buy a lot of from Chinese sellers, though each time I did, keyboard & headphones, now a flashlight was the best customer support I ever had and also received additional goodies at times too. I could never expect that kind of hospitality anywhere else. Truth be told.

I was most excited for TS11 for those colored lights and software tweaking options. It arrived, I was delighted and on the first day I – hold and behold – didn’t like it as much. In fact I did prefer the holder for the 18560 battery. A flashlight that’s just a spare holder for a battery, insane, ain’t it? I did like the beam (`colored renders, just very round and bright, clearly low quality but I wasn’t finicky, I just liked the beam) which additionally had an extra feature; *BATMAN INSIGNIA!* – I am just messing here. it’s in fact just the LED I presume. Still cool nonetheless, eh?
Also! Those rubber bands do fit at the screwing mechanisms for added fortifications against water and I assume. (Both TS11 & TS22)

I’ve learned to appreciate the TS11 after having tested it outside rather than inside the house. It truly shines outside . . . *(Pun intended)*

Arriving at the end, I went with a 1L Nike Sling Bag which was a perfect storage for both of these flashlights and a laser. To summarize; I am carrying a far-reaching flashlight, a field illumination light and a another distance based “light” (laser). Overall a full package 📦

Speaking of which where the journey may continue, I have an eager interest on those so-called ‘flat flashlights” which whom strike an interesting appearance while attaining some form of portability. Though I can give you a hint~ (how do you put things as spoiler tags?) well, either way, it’s the Rovyvon E30 Pro — that thing is a mustard squeezer in that sand color (has a different texture in this colorway) and the uv light, easy to access lights in the front is just a killar* (not sure if you can use that word accurately, I’ll censor it :p) combo.

Today I also saw a post from the user @ u/UndoubtedlySammysHP the light named JetBeam E26 which has also all the features while keeping a lower profile. Which may also fit in my bag and thus, a another consideration of the next contestant! Has the same LED as the TS11 I believe. Initially I hadn’t an ounce of clue what LEDs in lights meant as in quality and power. Glad haven’t went with the light that was first in consideration and done research beforehand through the helpful posts of the wonderful and learned people of this subreddit. An astonishingly bright community. ⭐

One more, just one more, the TS22 is perfect for illuminating a room – genuinely. If the lights are turned off at late at night, just place it in the middle of the room and it’ll provide a neat illuminance.

I’ve discovered this wonderful subreddit and through the positive feedback on a certain light, went ahead and purchased mineself the TS22 at a sale with an additional coupon of 20% (I believe) which brought it down to 33 and spontaneously purchased TS11 alongside a ton of goodies filling the basket.
`I’ll consider to mark this as a low-effort since it’s been rather directionless from the beginning (. . . after the end ) and was there to express some of the excitement while keeping a log of this hobby.`
