I just got this BBK Raptor in today and the detent is so strong that I can’t flip it open with my thumb. For some reason I am able to reverse flick it with my middle finger, but it takes an extraordinary amount of pressure to overcome the detent and takes fingernail off while doing so.
The majority of my collection are not frame locks and I don’t have much experience with making adjustments on frame lock knives.
How can I go about adjusting it without causing lockup problems or other issues?

Make sure your fingers aren’t putting pressure on the lockbar. This will make it very difficult to open a frame lock.
