I made a post earlier on this but removed it as my thoughts have changed.
There is a learning curve with these emerson style wave openers. I struggled at first as instead of just pulling straight up to remove the knife from pocket it’s sorta more of a up and backwards pull. Also especially with the backlogs it adds a but more resistance so that’s a thing to get used to aswell.
This style opener would probably be better suited for a standard detent on like a compression lock or liner lock rather than back lock. Due to tension.
I just bought it to try it out, I’ll probably leave it on for now. I don’t love it personally but I see why some would.
