Anyone have opinions on what they would have chosen? I recently bought a WE swordfin after initially going in to look at a shaman. I love the shaman but thought the WE was objectively better with 20CV and carbon fiber vs S30V and g10 for the same price. I know the compression lock is a lot better than liners but still. Would you have made the same decision for the same price?

If I wanted a user knife that will handle some hard work then the Shaman definitely. For an edc that’s only getting normal day to day lighter work that WE is very appealing. If American made means anything to you then another plus for that shaman.
Just like the other commenter said: it is workhorse vs pure pocket jewelry. The Shaman looks more durable and is easier to sharpen because of the shape of the blade (which is a huge plus for me since I sharpen my knives). The Shaman also looks more ergononic
The Shaman is an overpriced USA made knife. The WE is an overpriced Chinese knife. Never would I pay USA made prices for a Chinese made knife though. Ever.
Hard for the shaman.
