


The blade is all scuffed and the handle needs a clean. I know nothing about knives, how severe would yall say the marks on the blade is and what remedy would be best? Will probably just take it to some shop near me but want to see if there’s a way to do it myself. Any input appreciated!

Almost looks more like residue than damage to the blade finish. I dont see anytbing that looks deep. Wild way to do your makers mark. I would think this could be repolished with flitz or something similar without too much effort. Will all depend on how deep any scratches are. Handle looks pretty good honestly. Other than wiping the corrosion off im not sure that you need to do anything. It will just oxidize again. The age looks good on it. Lemon juice and baking soda is what i use.
