After using cheap knives my whole life I finally bought myself a benchmade 940 Osborn at bass pro. I love everything about it but when I watch videos on YouTube it’s so easy to flick out and pulling the safety pin down is butter smooth. When I gently pull the blade out the safety goes down smoothly like normal however when I flick the blade out a lil harder the safety pin is hard to pull down and gets stuck. Is this normal? Also the blade is a little stiff and isn’t loose and doesn’t open lighting quick like I see in the videos.

Clean it and let it break in. If it continues to be a problem you can contact benchmade and they will help you out. Try a drop of oil on the lock bar.
