I was up against some staples that were holding rope against some wood planks, and had to get the staples out…
The pliers weren’t doing the job well, but the can opener worked great. One staple…two staples…nice…
It was also very hot out so I took the padded gloves off. I mean, you don’t need gloves when removing staples with a can opener! Sheesh.
Seconds later, the can opener hit a stubborn staple and it suddenly, urgently, silently, gross-ily deflected right into my other hand. I got to see the full body of the can opener hangin’ out inside my palm! How often does that happen.
I didn’t feel a thing at first. Just saw a lot of blood and a can opener inside of my hand.
This was some days ago, so it’s been healing nicely since then…absolutely destroyed my workout routine for a while tho. Such as it is.
If you are using the can opener on this weap…device…please be careful.
