Bought the vanguard for work, I’m a millwright apprentice and often find myself in need of a good sharp knife. After a couple of destroyed foldable pocket knives, I decided to get a decent fixed blade and settled on the 192. I had ordered the walnut handle although upon opening I found that the knife was very red and came reddish leather sheath with badge saying 2022 fashion. I have seen a couple of the red cabela’s and it’s not like them at all. If it’s a valuable knife, I’d like to keep it in decent condition because I know I’ll tear it up and finding out it’s value, would determine if it’s going to be my new EDC.
