Received this one today. It fits fine on the tailcap, but I can’t screw it in on the head. Just feels like it’s stuck and I’d damage the threads when I force it. Original tube fits smoothly on both ends. Can’t see any debris or damage visually, is this actually the right tube?

Compare the threads of the original tube to this 18350. They should be the same length and threads. If anything, you should be able to align the two tubes if they have the same thread. The tube is directional so you can’t install it in reverse. Maybe closely examine the head side of each tube to see if the threads are exactly the same?
I’ve got the 18350 tube for the M1 so I know it can fit. Just looks comedically small.

Depending on how old your M1 is or where you bought it from, it may not fit. I messaged Simon of Convoy a while back and he did confirm that certain old batches of M1 hosts will not fit the 18350 tubes – but I assume that it has to be pretty old.
I also ask from which store you bought it from because some of the non-official stores (especially on AliEx) are selling older stock which isn’t current production, so the threads might be incompatible too.
