I have these SDK scales on my GB2 but they are a bit slick for my taste. Is their a way to make the micarta rougher or grippier without making it look ugly?

You could rough them up with some sandpaper. For sake of argument, say they’re at a 600 grit now.. Hitting them with a 400 or 300 wet sandpaper would rough them up a little bit.
