Anyone have experience swapping emitters on a Streamlight HL-X [NLD] or similar WML? (also, help ID stock emitter)

Trying to figure out how to remove this plastic clip/ring. There are two small holes (see one at 10:30 mark) and two gaps (12 o’clock) where the clip extends into. I’m guessing it’s the two gaps where I would try to use snap ring pliers.
Sft 40 is pretty good, which emitter are you swapping it to?
Obviously the Luminus SFT-40, they are the most popular and probably the best throwy emitter in the 30W class. What emitter would you like to replace it with?
