I ended up buying the light. I had posted asking about it and everyone basically said it’s well worth the buy. I’m more than satisfied. It lights up half the damn world but is perfect for a light to take fishing at night. I ordered a silicon diffuser (still waiting on shipping). It gets HOT, but I’ll rarely ever use the turbo. Most of its life will be spent between 10 and 1000 lumen as a lantern I can control and move during late night fishing. I’ll definitely use it to wow people around me or check the shoreline for bait fish. But it fits my big old hands perfectly and it’s nice and heavy.
I’m kind of interested in the molicell? I’ve been doing a bit of reading, will they perform better for longer periods of low current draw with this light? As I said, it will mostly be on the dimmest of settings and only ramped when baiting hooks or pulling a big ole catfish out of the lake.
Also, this anduril 2 is insane. I’m quite a bit lost, but the “Simple Mode” has everything I really need. Ramp, on, lock, and a voltage check. Is there anything I should do before taking it out on a late night adventure?
