My first lightweight Spyderco (and first Byrd), that scale texture is way more rough than I expected.
The lock is super sharp, sanded the edges down a bit and it’s still chewing up my thumb.
Love it though! Pretty big though, maybe shoulda went with the Meadowlark.

Might be worth giving the G10 version a try. I think it’s one of the best value folders out there. Still might require a touch of sanding on the scales and/or lockbar but that that I think it’s great.
