Sorry if this is the wrong page for this. I inherited this fleam from a family member who passed. I know its for bloodletting, however I’m looking for any possible information on the markers mark. Thanks

You are definitely in the right place! Because now you get to tell us how a fleam is employed.

I never knew there was a special tool for blood letting, I always assumed it was a scalpel or large bore needle or something.

Please, tell us what you know about fleams.

I didn’t know such a thing existed. I always assumed bloodletting was done with any old knife.

Please tell us what you know about fleams
