I have been using/liking the M31L a lot more than I thought. Around the house it’s a useful output level, the beam is very pleasant, and it’s an easy UI. Obviously no low (or particularly bright high) isn’t perfect, but I just really like it. Anyway, I figured I’d compare the runtime to the other 2AA Malkoff, the one I tended to use for the same purposes (it’s a tad green on lower levels and has PWM)
I am not sure if I’m deluding myself thinking this emitter is really any different than a 519a of the same temp. I have a 519a 5700K de-dome LMH MDC and I don’t like it nearly as much, but that is in no small part to me disliking the latest driver, plus the fact lower modes have PWM.
