This is my John Deere 1948 Model Collectors knife that I received from my grandmother this past Christmas. This knife came from Franklin Mint Collector Knives and it’s hand painted to look like the John Deere Model B Tractor with an authentic turning rubber tire. The paper in this post was signed by Chairman Stewart Resnick. Now time for actual history and how I got my hands on this besides my grandmother. My grandfather had actually fought in WW2 inside of France in a tank battalion, after the war he decided to get this knife in 2002 and kept it until his death many years ago. Then my grandmother found out I collected knives, so she gave me his old knife that I’ll keep forever.
