Imalent LD10. Replacement for defective flashlight, is having the same defective symptoms as previous one, months later.

Any idea why? Is this common with this model? My brother has a LD 70 and no problem for the past few years. I feel reluctant to ask for a warranty replacement on a warranty replacement haha
