Got the knife from the estate of a family member. Out of curiosity I wanted to see how old it was, but couldn’t find any stamp on the blade besides the Stainless steel. Knife was probably bought in Canada. Opinions?
I’d say so. I’m not an expert but just having the buck logo (trademarked) probably means it authentic. Sorry I’m not much help, but if my opinion matters in your eyes then yeah I’ll bet it’s authentic.

It’s a knockoff. If it was a Buck, there would be a tang stamp. Also the guard, handle and pommel just look extremely Pakistan.

Look for and look up the maker mark on both sides and Google buck maker marks. Not sure, but looks older maybe 90s early 2000s

Fake

It is my understanding that every buck 119, since the very first model, has “Buck” stamped on the blade. Based on that alone, I would assume it is a clone.

It’s a fake buck, every single one made after 86 has a mark on the blade that shows the year. Before that it was either buck or BUCK USA depending on when it was made.
