This is not my first S2+ UV Nichia rodeo, but it is my first in a pretty purple body! The S21A UV is a new arrival today, joining my floody flock and throwy tribe.
I want to say something nice about the S21A UV… it takes 21700s?
The S2+ UV Nichia is still a rocking little UV light when you don’t need S12 levels of power (like the Alonefire SV52s photobombing my unboxing pic).
The S2+ tested more powerful, smaller body, ran cooler and was cheaper on convoyflashlight.com We need more UV lights with Nichia LEDs!
That brings my UV light unique model count up to 35. I’ve got duplicates of S12s for renting out and SV52s for selling to people.
Sales of blacklights isn’t something I do for profit, more to help local opal miners or tourists out.
The S2+ is a bit underpowered for our opal hunting needs here. S12 and above power I prefer, but there’s definitely a soft spot for these cute little powerhouses. Yet to try swapping the pill into my S6 body to see if that would get it throwing a bit further. Also tempted to get one in circuit board Ti for the collection, but I have a bunch more UV lights higher in the wishlist to get.
