My dad has carried this benchmade ares 730 since I was an early teen. Never had to replace the omega spring but has done a number on the original edge. He showed it to the guy behind the counter at SMKW and said the dude visibly cringed.
Can’t say I blame the guy knowing what these go for on ebay but I admire his commitment to a single knife for so long.

Awesome! Even though it’s in pretty good nick after so many years, it’s still eligible for r/BeatUpKnives and I’m sure the folks over there would dig it!

To be fair, the blade still looks better than a lot of blades that have been resharpened over the years
