So here we have the budget version of the wild species by remette. I honestly just got this because I really liked the aesthetics. Steel liners, 14c28n, g10 scales. For 33 bucks on sale on amazon I have to say Im pretty happy. While I am not a huge fan of thumbstuds or liner locks the price point, finish, and ergonomics of this knife are all superb. My only real complaints are it is slightly too large for my liking and the detent is a tad stiff.
Pros: – materials – price/quality ratio – ergonomics are stellar – Smooth action (bearings are decent) – Strong lockup – Comes with disassembly tool and microfiber cloth
Cons:
– Stiff detent, though its gotten better with some use – Not enough jimping
Personal complaints:
– Slightly larger than preference – No deep carry clip

It’s all Drifts and Rosies now eh
With the market cooling down so rapidly, the stagnant repetition of design language is gonna be an issue for some companies
The market is super oversaturated rn, and I fear that there’s fewer people entering the higher end knife customer base, and many leaving
Saw a Rosie resell yesterday for a good $150 lower than the tag, a year ago it would’ve made a profit
