I got the LANapple blue alu because it was on sale, so I couldn’t let a 30$ Reylight pass.
I love this. In fact, I love all Reys. This one features 519A 4000K, glow in the dark gasket and O-ring in the head, and a lovely beam. I added some GITD tubes to the head and tail switch (4 tritium slots), and now it is even prettier.
I really like Hanks, but I’m starting to think that I have a thing for Reys…

I currently EDC a red lanapple! (but we’ll see if the D3AA bumps it out) It’s great and I like the ergonomics of it. Just the weigh it’s balanced.
There’s also a neat UI shortcut that isn’t seen on his website but you can see it in reviews:
Double tap for turbo. if you don’t know about it, it can accidentally trigger when you are clicking through modes quickly and it throws you off .
With memory mode off, if you hold the tap down for a few moments, the light will think it’s off, then when you release it will be back at moonlight. It’s quite handy if you find yourself lost in the rotation.
I think the best thing about the light is that if you let someone use it, it’s simple to use (click for on/off, tap to change modes) but then you still have access to the above mentioned short cuts to quickly get to where you want for day to day stuff.
