Who all is rocking one of these little guys? I’m on my second one, having left the first stuck to a Lally column in a customer’s basement because the light quality was so good that I forgot it was even there. 700 lumens isn’t anything too crazy, but the CRI and color temperature are spot-on, and it casts a very broad, even light.

Sturdy little guy. It’ll run all day on a battery like the one in the photo, it’s got a powerful magnet on the back for sticking it to stuff, the light part swivels, and it has a USB output on it. Fits easily in the hand if you want to wave it around like a lantern. Simple high-medium-low interface. $89 sans battery at full retail, but generally easy to find a deal at $59 if you look around.

Is it the fanciest, prettiest, most compact, most full-featured, best-built light out there? Nah. It’s just solidly good in every way that matters, and it kinda just gets out of the way and does its job. It’s more about a lack of flaws than about any one standout feature, if you know what I mean. Everyone I know who has one, likes it.

Anyone here have experience with this little workhorse? What do you think of it?

They work great especially if you’re in the m12 ecosystem. They have a strong magnet, can free stand, swivel and they have a USB-A port to charge your other devices in a pinch!

Now you just gotta switch out all the LED’s for 519a 😂
