Was asked by my local police department to make something for someone who retired today after 35 years of service. As he’s one who likes cooking we thought a santoku would be a fitting gift.
Blade with integral bolster is roughly 70 layers of 15n20 and 1095, with a 115CrV3 core. Octagonal water buffalo horn for the handle.
