Gerber Diesel Multi-Plier replacement parts for Philips head screw driver?

If Gerber doesn’t sell replacement parts that you can do yourself or if I don’t want to find a donor multi-tool. Can I use a pencil grinder to carve out a crude shape that hopefully resembles a Phillips heads?
