These were standard issue in the US Army at least during my time which I would assume goes with the military style bag

looks like MP600 since if i correctly remember MP400 has holes side of handles.
That’s a Gerber slide style . Has two buttons when pressed in the plywrs come out and it can be opened. Closed locks it down. It was a great rival for leatherman but I’m currently in love with my rebar and ugggh rebar mini keychain!? lol

Noice! I just used mine to help remove the gas tube from my vepr 12. These things were like insect infestations in the army! everybody had spares for their spares!
