So, I bought a new cheap beater knife today ($13 Husky assisted open) and I asked my 3 year old daughter if she wanted to see it because she loves climbing up on my lap and going through all the tools on my multitool. I pulled out the knife and showed it to her and her first response was “Oh, wow! Now show me the other tools”. I said, this one is just a knife and she replied “Why would you get a knife with just one tool, that’s a waste”
I don’t know when it will be, but there’s definitely a multitool in this girl’s future.
Oh, and this can be considered a multitool because it has a lanyard hole and a blade lock. So it can be used as a fishing weight, or as something to tie a string to in order to get the string over a high branch. Beaters are meant to be used.
