I have run out of ideas so I thought I ask a dedicated community.
I own a bunch of relatively cheap folding knives. Most of them have a clip to cary them on your belt. This clip gets in the way all the time and I want to remove it. However, the screws (two in most cases) are so tight that trying to remove them with the tool that came with them (dont know the tool’s name in english) only damages the screws and the tool. Yet the screws wont move even a bit.
Do you have advice on how to remove the screws?
If nothing helps I will remove them with force and smothen the edge with sand paper, but I would prefer a more civilized way that allows me to reattach the clip later if needed.
Thanks for your advice!

Those clips are for your pocket, not your belt. I recommend keeping them.
The screws are torx bits, probably T6. Get quality tools and turn them counter-clockwise to remove.
If they’re stuck (which I doubt they are) heat them with a soldering iron and then unscrew them.
If the screw i stripped you can cut a slot with a dremel and use a flathead to uncrew. Btw, carry how you want, but the intention is for the knife to go inside your pocket, with the clip on the outside, so it holds it in place.
Torx bits. T6, maybe T8 size.
Use a heat gun/blow dryer in case there is any thread lock if you don’t have a soldering iron, then lefty loosie with the torx that everyone is telling you to use. And yes these are pocket clips, not for your belt
