I got a Nitecore MT06MD and it’s a fine light, but the switch was just awful. Rattles and is sloppy. Also, seems like the pill is glued in. So after nearly destroying the driver I fished it out, and slapped that bad boy into the WK02 pill. Had to shorten the double stacked driver boards but it fits.
Even if I wasn’t planning on this mod (I was going to pop the 219B into the nitecore) I’m happy for a few reasons-I like the WK02 just looks better to me, the button feels better and forward clicky is better for my use case. All around I’m happy. And if I ever fish the pill out of that nitecore it can live again with a Wurkkos driver.
