Thanks to this subreddit I discovered Gerber’s ‘End of Summer Sale’ recently and ordered this for $55. (Plus another coupon “ABENITY15” for an additional 15% off.)
Just double-checked the website and it appears Gerber has raised the price up to $66 for the Dual-Force. Even so, I’d say it’s well worth looking into. These slip-joint pliers really open up a whole realm of possibilities that its needle-nose counterparts would struggle with.
(The yellow lettering/numbers is an aftermarket modification; I just thought it’d be neat. Although much of the lettering wasn’t stamped deep enough for the color to properly adhere…)
