This Victorinox Recruit with nylon scales has been in my pocket everyday I’ve been wearing pants since I found it five years ago. Me and a couple of friends set up camp in the dark only bringing a tarp and our sleeping bags. It rained all night and after I woke up I found this under my bag. It has developed a very slight side to side play in the large blade after using it to baton kindling in a pinch a couple of times in a pinch, but it’s hardly noticeable at all and if the scales are pinched together the play dissapears completely. I usually carry another folder, fixed blade or a Leatherman, but this knife is always with me. As long as I’m wearing pants.
