I’ve had the tool for maybe 9 months or so and I’ve never sharpened the blades. At this point they are about as effective as a credit card… I reallly need to learn how to sharpen because I’ve waited far too long.

Best? Whetstone for the straight edge if you’re willing to learn how to use it. Jig sharpener if you don’t want to learn and don’t mind paying for it. Pull through if you don’t want to use the other two, but it will reduce the lifetime of your blade more and will need to be sharpened more often.
For the serrated I’d recommend a coarse diamond rod
