Spyderco para 3 with:
-Glow Rhino tan/tritium scale
-Glow Rhino tritium lanyard hole plug
-Flytanium carbon fiber scale
-Flytanium titanium back spacer
-MXG deep pocket clip
I was torn between the two sets of scales so I decided to use them both! They both have nearly identical profiles but the Glow Rhino one is slightly thicker than the carbon scale. Luckily you can’t even notice when its in your hand since the carbon side has the clip.
A couple benefits I found with having contrasted mismatched scales is that wen you set the knife down you can set it down with whichever side contrasts the surface most so you never lose it. Also with the darker carbon fiber side having the clip on it, other people can barely tell you have a knife since it’s all dark color is facing out.
The color scheme came from me trying to match my custom guitar I put together (previous post on my profile) since it also has tan, carbon fiber, and a tritium insert
