I need (want)a good budget friendly and civilian friendly multitool to use in my clinic im gonna buy a leatherman raptor and thinking about another general use one.
I live and work in a third world country so i dont have the budget big and bulky ones

    do you need pliers? if yes, leatherman. if not, victorinox. leatherman neeeds to be opened if you want to access basically everything while victorinox doesn’t. also, you can close the blades on the leatherman with one hand while you will need 2 hands to close the blade on the victorinox. victorinox has a more ergonomic handle.

    so it depends on your use case, ie what tasks you expect to accomplish.

    I can suggest a M-Tac multitool. Made in EU and it’s cheap ,but dont feel cheap.

    In my opinion a SAK is a rather light duty Multitool and generally has a bunch of things I never use.

    I EDCed a Leatherman skeletool for years, I still kinda do as it now lives in my briefcase.

    Compromise. One full size leatherman and a small Swiss army.
