I put on a lighted switch on my Convoy Z1 (with a lego’d M21A tailcap), but the thing wouldn’t tailstand at all.
I read about people making modified or custom washers to work around this, but after destroying one of my spare clear washers with some sand paper and a dremel, I realized there was a stupid simple solution to the whole problem.
I just took a thick o-ring I had lying around, doubled it up in place of the thin original o-ring, and now the switch sits lower in the tailcap. It now tailstands like a champ.
Posting this for posterity since I never saw anyone mention this solution before, and it’s really easy and non-destructive.
