First time modding a knife. Cut the large part off with a dremel, keeping it cool with water every few seconds. Masked the blade with tape, besides what I wanted ground off, and shaped it with bench sander, again keeping it cool. Did a little hand sanding but need to get some new higher grit papers before I can match the finish but it's hardly noticeable. I don't know what I'm doing(as far as knife specific stuff) other than keeping cool being a priority.
