I have ordered 2 of these on Amazon, both came in the correct packaging but someone had clearly swapped in a used old knife and returned it. Is this website a legit place to order from? I just want a new knife man… 😂

That’s one of the perils of ordering from Amazon, unfortunately. Tends to hit some brands more than others. I try to order direct when I can. KnifeCenter is legit though.
This is such a rampant problem that I always advise people to never buy knives from Amazon
There’s lots of good reasons not to shop at Amazon, but even if you don’t care about those, the defective and counterfeit knives are reason enough to shop elsewhere
Blade HQ or Knifecenter for sub $200 knives. Both have a nice rewards program and excellent customer service.
I see multiple fake knives from Amazon every week. That’s just the way Amazon works. No one there checks, or even knows what to look for, so buying legits and swapping them out for fakes for a return is a full on business these days.
Stick to actual knife companies. You’ll get a legit knife, and you’ll support a small business that’s made up of community members that love knives as much as you do.
