What makes a Spyderco either a hate it or love it knife? I looked at them and really thought they were the ugly ducklings of popular knives. For me the Paramilitary 2 is the best of them. It’s still a bit ugly but it is so much more than any other knife. What is your favorite and is it logical or just a feeling?

I feel the same way. I want to hate mine but I love it
Definitely weird shapes but that’s their thing. Got the Smock because it doesn’t look like a traditional Spyderco. But the pm2 is on my shortlist now that I’m sold on them. Also looking for a nice Delica.
I’m in the same boat, Kinda … I wasn’t never really a fan of their general design (big old blade hole with an exaggerated hump in the spine, just to make the whole a reality, kind of crazy!) … then I bought my first one, and I haven’t looked back — gone so far down that hole, but now I think they’re kind of beautiful, but some more than others for sure! Take these three, for example:

All three have blades that absorbed the hole in a less garish Manor… I definitely find these ones to be beautiful!
