First decent review here:

Just thought I'd share since there's a lot of interest and plenty of misinformation going on about this this light.
From what I can see here it's a decent upgrade over the original.
Things that stood out:
– Holds over 1000 lumens on flood, and just under 1000 on throw.
– New flood emitters used that are unfamiliar but look like a decent upgrade over the SST's in V1.
– 42R generates a lot more lumens than the 25R but distance is around the same or a little less.
– Side light is actually useable now with 120 lumens of high CRI output around 4000K (perfect for indoor use as well).
– You can reactivate the 5000 lumen turbo mode over and over again for roughly 30-40 seconds which is decent, there's no artificial limit baked in.
– You can still disable autolock.
– All lights now come with a glow ring, no special MAO edition required.
– USB port is no longer crappy rubber but have a nice rigid flap.
He didn't get the UV edition for review so we've yet to see how well that works but I'm hoping it doesn't impact the side light performance.
All in all, a good upgrade from the SK05-Pro.
