Where it all started for me. My first EDC flashlight!

Just recently found it in my desk drawer!

This was my very first flashlight that I carried for years as an aircraft mechanic. I thought I was so cool at the time by replacing the tail with a switch, adding an early led conversion, and doing a paracord wrap. I'll probably pick up a reflector and replacement bulb to bring back its ability to focus. Any reason to mod these lights these days?

What else was everyone's first flashlight? How long did you keep it and do you still have it?
