Most of my best knives are 20CV or M390 with a few odd balls in there like ELMAX and LC200N. I sort of got out of the game as the first Magnacut knives were being produced (and the Hinderer hate started), but I still have 5 of these bad boys, CRKs from S30V to S45VN, Giant Mice with Italian heat-treated steel, and the last knife I bought to be an everyday user, a Para 3 with S45VN. And drawers full of other beautiful sharp things. None have let me down. None have gotten rusty, even the D2 blades. And I'm able to put a very sharp edge on all of them with a WorkSharp or SharpMaker. So let's hear it for the non-cutting edge (oof) tried and true super steels and regular steels!
