Just got this Convoy Copper S2+! Feels so solid and heavy! So I think tons of ppl have said there's a protective coating on this light on top of the copper. Instead of chemicals, I wanted to use this 0000 steel wool to scrub it off. Any tips on how much to scrub or how much to do it? What did you guys do to get rid of the protective coating?

I used a 2 side nail file and becomes white and opaque then u start seeing shiny metal so thats ur goal just gently get rid of all the murky white residue i did it in my brass t6
