I always hated spiderco i though they were ugly and all the same. kind of like the Porsche of the knife world. I decided to get a para 3 clone on bearings and I was like ok I get it. then I got a para 2 clone on washers. it was not great. when I finally got this para 3 I was a little disappointed in the action as it was really stiff. almost immediately I swapped the scales. I like the carbon fiber ones but they were slick so I decided. I can put the g10 on the front for grip and leave the back one so it doesn't get caught on my pocket. I still didn't cary it as it had horrible lock stick. I was already invested so I made one last choice to get a new pocket clip and start carrying it on Saturdays. almost a year later I finally managed to break it in as I swap every day. its smooth now and in the last couple days I decided that I have over 150 knives I need to start using them. this is going to be my expensive Saturday work hourse now. now I just need to start using my bugout and microtech bounty hunter. also another reason the carbon scales are slick is they have no belly. you can see it in the first photo.
