Has anyone ever cut themselves when using a choil? I can never feel comfortable choking up on this blade. I really want to love this knife, but I feel way more comfortable whittling with my mora.
What would you guys do? Use a file to extend the choil?

I’d probably just use a file to knock down the edge at the choil.
