Skilhunt has been teasing this for a while – they've launched their new 3535 high CRI proprietary emitter.

Koef3 reviewed this emitter a few months ago and there's been some speculation on which lights would hit first. Looks like it's the M150 and M200 – their small single emitter EDCs, with very efficient drivers.

The emitter has a small round LES so it's quite a bit throwier than 519a but also significantly less luminance. SKilhunt, which is usually pretty good about hitting its marketed lumens, says the M200 hits 1200 lumens on 519A and just 800 on F35R, but with 60% more throw (276m vs 176m). In the M150 the lumen count is identical to the 3000k 519A but with 70% more throw.

The F35R has great color rendering and is similar to high-throw NTG and FFL emitters (and presumably from Hopthink who manufactures for Hank and FFL).

The M150 and M200 are some of my favorite lights from Skilhunt, particularly with the SFT25R which gives you perfect beam shape, but with high CCT and poor color rendering. I'm really interested to see how these look compared to the SFT25R. You give a bit of throw but gain a lot of CRI.

Is anyone else excited for this release?
