I love Opinels. They're cheap, they keep an edge, and they look great! This one is my daily carry. It's still getting it's workhorse look. I gave my last one to a good friend. Why is your knife better than mine?

What lock is that?
it’s honestly hard to say that anything is “better” then an Opinel. but i will throw one Ontario Rat into the ring, with its thicker blade stock, I’d trust it to wedge through heavier materials that I might not the Opinel.
but other than that? hard to beat the classic.
It’s not.
I’ve added an O-clip pocket clip and a small groove to make it easier to pull the blade out.
It’s not. It’s just different.
I love my opinel though, cool knives for sure.
