Decided to fix the T1Pro V3’s cold, greenish tint by swapping in an FFL351A HI 3700K. The result? Really impressive. It keeps alot of that awesome throw but gives me a much more usable hotspot, and of course, a much nicer tint and High-CRI. I also beefed up the internals by switching Weltool’s thin MCPCB for a 16mm Convoy board. Had to use a thinner gasket to compensate for the extra height so everything would close up properly.

Since the 3700K runs a bit hotter than the stock SFT-25R, the extra copper should really help with the thermals.

Excuse the scuffed emitter edges, my cheap tweezers definitely left their mark 😉. It's from an older swap, but the emitter works just fine.

Did a quick runtime test, but I had to cut it short at the 10-minute mark when it hit nearly 70°C🔥. In the real world, though, that’s not an issue, I rarely blast it on high for long stretches. Medium mode is my go-to, and it’s more than enough for daily carry.

Output is 670 lumens on high/turbo, with medium coming in at 250 lumens, and is sustainable without the light getting hot at all.

I can already tell this will be in my rotation much more often. Between the slim profile, the crisp, tactile tail-switch, and a UI that just works for me, it was already a great light, now it’s even better.

Overall, it’s basically a tactical 14500 take on the SC65c or FC11C, but with a more compact form factor and that tactical tail-switch.
