I bought this the week it was released in 2014. At the time I had the Rat 1 but felt it was too big for my purposes so I jumped on this as soon as it was released.
This thing has seen it all. It's been my garage knife, camping, yard work knife, to the office, Christmas morning package opener and everything in between.
I don't even care that the AUS-8 is junk by today's standards. It sharpens so easily and takes a sinister edge. I love the handle shape, blade geometry, and overall weight & length.
If there were a premium version of this with CF scales, axis lock and upgraded steel I would be first in line to buy it.
