I love the Nitecore NTR10 ring; it fits on their P23i and P20iX torches. I feel it really lowers the chance of it slipping out of your fist, especially when it would be needed to smash a window or just plainly being clumsy and dropping it.
However with warmer spring weather and summer coming up, I am looking for ways to make my EDC set more compact. One of the things I'm thinking about is taking the ring away so I can use a holster or nylon pouch for the Nitecore. It made me think, are there other people with this question; I suppose we all have issues to make your kit smaller without losing functionality…
> Would this ring make the Nitecore too bulky for you to carry daily?
(The great thing about many Nitecore torches is that it has two spaces for clips, so that you can attach a clip on both sides, and so still carry it on your belt or on the side of a bag. Downside of this way of carrying it, is that it is often visible and many people ask why you need it. It can be a bit tiring. In the winter I always carry it in the same pocket of my coat.)
